2003-07 ORBVIEW-3
The 2003-07 ORBVIEW-3 black and white (panchromatic) and multispectral imaging satellite project was acquired by Orbital Imaging Corporation (ORBIMAGE), now DigitalGlobe, at resolutions of 1 meter (panchromatic with a 450 to 900 nm spectral range) and 4 meters (multispectral with spectral ranges of 450 to 520 nm [blue], 520 to 600 nm [green], 625 to 695 nm [red], and 760 to 900 nm [near infrared]). The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center received various OrbView-3 image “segments” from ORBIMAGE/GeoEye/DigitalGlobe with no restrictions.
